Environmental Partners Group (EPG) has worked with Robert B. Our on several projects on Cape Cod over the past ten years, most recently in Wellfleet.  In 2008, we worked on the construction of the replacement of Uncle Tim’s Bridge, and in 2009 on the expansion of the water system.  Robert Our’s office management, field supervisors and field staff are a pleasure to work with and have consistently demonstrated their commitment to constructing high quality public works projects.  The Uncle Tim’s Bridge project involved the demolition of an old pile-supported bridge spanning over Duck Creek.  The new bridge was a approximately 300 feet long, supported by Greenheart piles, ranging in length from 16 to 38 feet.  Work had to be carefully sequenced around tide cycles.  The project was completed in six weeks between Labor Day Columbus Day, without impacting the Oyster Festival weekend. Robert B Our was awarded the contract to construct the expansion to the water system in July 2009.  The contract scope included installation of approximately 19,000 feet of 8 and 12-inmch water mains, two directional drilling crossings under Route 6, two gravel packed wells, a pump station and over 200 services.  Work started after Labor Day and with two crews, Robert Our completed the pipeline and services work in 3.5 months. RBO was also the subcontractor for the foundation and site work for the new 500,000 gallon storage tank.  EPG is very satisfied with the professionalism, quality and cooperation shown by RBO on this project.  Regards, Paul Paul C.
